Why pilgrims come

A sacred place worth the journey.

A living Franciscan monastery and Assumption parish on a peninsula in Rama Lake, preserving Catholic life, the memory of the Rama martyrs, and an ethnographic museum. Its historic link to Sinj follows the friars and Marian painting carried from Rama in 1687; the original image is now venerated in Sinj, not here.
