What makes this visit meaningful
Turku is the gateway to St. Henry's Way and to Finland's renewed pilgrimage culture. The cathedral preserves the altars, spaces, and documentary memory of Henry's cult, but the medieval reliquary and most relics did not survive as a visitable shrine.
