St. Dominic · preaching · prayer · the Order of Preachers
Follow the places that formed St. Dominic’s mission: the first community at Prouilhe, years of preaching around Fanjeaux, the Order’s Roman home at Santa Sabina, and the saint’s tomb in Bologna.
Prouilhe and Santa Sabina remain living Dominican houses. Fanjeaux preserves several places associated with Dominic, while Bologna holds his ecclesiastically documented tomb. Verify access around liturgy and community prayer.

Plan prayerfully
Dominican pilgrimage is not a checklist of institutional landmarks. Leave room for silence, the Rosary, the Word of God, and the liturgical prayer of the communities that continue the Order’s vocation.
