Why pilgrims come

A sacred place worth the journey.

The Latin Catholic cathedral and parish of Skopje. The present church was built after the old cathedral was destroyed in the 1963 earthquake; Pope Francis visited the parish in 2019. It is a living worship center distinct from the nearby state-run Mother Teresa Memorial House.
